Shawn M. Maguire

Education

Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, University of Pennsylvania, USA (2021)

B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Stevens Institute of Technology, USA (2016)

Bio/Description

Shawn was a postdoctoral researcher (2021-2025) co-advised by Professor Emily C. Davidson in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 and his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2016. His research focused on the investigation of structure-processing-morphology-property relationships of soft matter, including polymer nanocomposites, chemically recyclable polymers, and block copolymers using a combined materials science, interfacial phenomena, and polymer physics approach.

Postdoctoral Experience

Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Princeton University, USA (2021 - 2025)
